The Wien Museum in Vienna relies on MuseumPlus as museum management system

For those who visit Vienna, the Wien Museum at the Karlsplatz represents a center of attraction. This Viennese universal museum comprises a whole museum landscape with some special museums, excavation areas and apartments of musicians which are located all over the town. It is very impressive to have such a variety and wide range of collections and exhibitions. No more than a year ago this institution was expanded by the Römermuseum at the Hoher Markt.

We are very proud that the Wien Museum decided to use MuseumPlus as their central museum management system after having evaluated other systems which are on the market. The focal point of this project consists in migrating the existing 1.4 million records from the legacy system to MuseumPlus; the same system is used for the professional management of more than 20 exhibitions yearly.
