zetcom won open call for tender of the SERAC harmonization project

In spring 2009 zetcom AG participated in an open call for tender of the SERAC harmonization project in Lausanne and in June 2009 we won the tender offer.

The service for cultural affairs of the canton Vaud [SERAC] will introduce a new homogeneous information system which is especially adapted to the needs of the entities. To these entities belong the direction and eight museums which are located in different areas of Lausanne and the canton Vaud.

The following museums all form part of the SERAC harmonization project: Musée des Beaux-Arts, Musée d’Archéologie et d’histoire, Musée de l’Elysée, Musée de géologie, Musée et Jardin botaniques, Musée monétaire cantonal, Musée romain d’Avenches and finally the museum Musée de zoologie.

The SERAC harmonization project started in September 2009. In a first step we determined a common basis for all departments and museums. This phase will last until December 2009. In January 2010 MuseumPlus will be installed in two museums: Musée des Beaux-Arts and in the museum Musée l’Élysée. zetcom AG will finish the installation of MuseumPlus in all other museums of the SERAC project by December 2010.
