A rigorous and detailed tender process was carried out by the Wallace Collection for a new Collection Management System and in December 2005 Zetcom were successful in winning the contract.

The digitalization of museum objects and storing of their data in adequate databases has been one of the problems of the Hungarian national institutions, urging for solution for the last several years. This problem concerns museums in the capital and other cities, however, in the National Gallery, being the „national” gallery of Hungary, the solution had to be exemplary.
