Europeana Inside

zetcom is proud to announce, that after a thorough evaluation procedure the collaborative best practice project „Europeana Inside“ has been approved by the EC. Together with our Athens based partner firm PostScriptum Ltd. we will participate as technology partners in a consortium of 28 international companies and museums, among them our MuseumPlus clients State Museums of Berlin, The Royal Museums of Art and History in Bruxelles and the Benaki Museum Athens.

The 30 month project, which will take off in 2012, is led by the UK Collections Trust and aims to achieve a lasting transformation in the quantity and scope of digital material contributed to Europeana. This will be achieved by the development of open-source tools, which reduce or remove the legal, technical, financial and operational barriers to participation in aggregated services by cultural institutions.

The Europeana Inside Network brings together world-leading cultural heritage institutions with global Collections Management System providers to provide a combination of sector and technical expertise.
