In August 2018, the \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne (EPFL) hosted a top-class two-day symposium on “Archiving Intangible Cultural Heritage & Performing Arts”.<\/p>\n

Numerous examples and research projects were used to explore the problems and opportunities of documenting ICH (Intangible Cultural Heritage).<\/p>\n

In addition to international experts such as Prof. Jeffrey Shaw, Prof. Sarah Kenderdine and Prof. Harald Kr\u00e4mer, Norbert Kanter (zetcom Berlin) presented on the subject of “International Standards and Collection Management Systems as Tools for Successful and Sustainable Documentaion”.<\/p>\n
