Our North American team is working with prestigious institutions, private collections, corporate archives and well-known brands, implementing our software according to our clients’ requirements. The team is looking for a technical expert to support our projects, team members, and clients. To join our fully remote team, we are looking for a permanent, full-time, U.S. resident (ideally in Merrimack Valley, NH/Northeast, MA) Software Implementation Specialist.

The position works under the direction of the Project Managers to define and implement client-specific configuration of our software and to implement data exports and reports in our clients’ applications. The implementation specialist is an expert on data structures, application configuration, and export templates, as well as analyzing and understanding client data to prepare for data migration. The position reports to the Head of Projects & Services in North America, with a strong connection to the zetcom specialist teams in Europe, who provide technical oversight, procedural guidance and training.

Position Responsibilities

  • Consults with Project Managers and Solution Experts and validates specifications and solutions
  • Configures data structures and user interfaces for client-specific applications
  • Implements exports in various formats (Excel, Word, XML, CSV, HTML, etc.)
  • Completes dataset analysis and supports data pre-processing for migration purposes (SQL)
  • Performs quality assurance testing and preparation for client UAT
  • Expertly trains clients (May involve occasional travel)
  • Performs technical support and troubleshooting
  • Takes on additional responsibilities as assigned

Your Qualifications

  • Training from a college or technical school in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field and 2 years of experience in a similar role or the equivalent combi-nation of education and experience
  • A general background in Information Technology, as a consultant, developer, database specialist or equivalent
  • Attention to detail, structured way of working, reliability, and strong connected thinking
  • Ability to recognize and call out potential conflicts and edge cases and proactively suggest solutions to the team
  • Self-starter and fast learner with determination to implement great solutions for customers
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and spoken). Proficient or native English speaker required, other languages are a bonus (French, German)
  • Knowledge of and experience working with cultural data (not required, but is a bonus) . Ideally museums, galleries, archives and/or libraries
