zetcom equips the Museu Etnogràfic d’Eivissa with MuseumPlus software. We are looking forward to another Balearic client.
The “Museu Etnogràfic d’Eivissa” in Can Ros (Ibiza) preserves the local culture of Ibiza. The museum presents the original architecture of Ibiza and collection objects documenting the local rural and artisan life for its audience. The former farmhouse was inaugurated as a museum after its renovation in 1994.
The collection contains more than 2000 objects. Among them are tools for agriculture and fishing, clothing, jewelry, various domestic objects, vehicles, musical instruments, an oil press and inventory for wine production.
The museum’s central permanent exhibition is supplemented by handicraft workshops, various events and an ethnographic library and video library.
zetcom now equips the “Museu Etnogràfic d’Eivissa” with the MuseumPlus software. With MuseumPlus, we will introduce a web-based collection management system and work with the “Museu Etnogràfic d’Eivissa” team through all project steps, as we move toward completion.
In the future, MuseumPlus will support the Ethnographic Museum as a leading solution in efficiently managing and developing its collection and exhibition operations.
